Payment
All products are paid in full when placing your order with the
exception of Custom fabrication orders. Custom fabrication orders require a 50% payment upon order placement
with the balance paid prior to shipping. See details. We accept Visa, Mastercard only. Completion Time
Estimated production time ("ships in") is stated for
each product on the product page or on a quote we have sent you. "Days" refer to business days (Monday-Friday,
excluding holiday hours). Production Rush orders may be requested for Custom Products at an additional charge.
Please state in the customer comment section of your quote request if you desire a Rush Production. Not all products
are available with Rush Production. Fabrics and Trims are in stock at most times. In the event your fabric and/or trim
is back ordered the completion time begins from the date our stock is replenished. You will be contacted if your
fabric and/or trim is back-ordered longer than 12 days. If you don't like the stock date, then you can cancel your order
within 24 hours after being notified of a back order without penalty. Please note: estimated production
times stated on custom quotes are based upon inventory on hand at the time we complete your quote request.
Inventory is subject to change at any time thereafter. We will always send you an order confirmation when you place
an order via a quote request. C.O.M. orders completion time is from the date we receive all fabric and/or trims
from you necessary to fabricate your order. You will be notified when all C.O.M. items have been received for your order and
your order has been sent to production. There may be delays to our normal production times due to seasonal demands.
Rush Production Orders are not available during seasonal demand periods. Seasonal demands typically occur from October
- December. If you need a custom product for the holidays please order it well in advance.
Shipping Policy
Refer
to the product page for production and/or shipping times. Orders
will ship Standard Ground (2-7 days transit) within the continental U.S. when the product is ready to ship. Some
products may ship via freight delivery. Please contact us for shipping charges outside the continental U.S. We are not
responsible for shipping delays caused by the shipping vendor, by weather, or any other uncontrollable circumstance. Samples
ship in approximately 2-7 business days. Return Policy Custom Products are
custom made to your specifications and are therefore non refundable & non returnable. Orders received by the customer
not matching the written order or written change order (our error) may be exchanged or refunded. Custom
orders received damaged in transit must be returned and will be exchanged/replaced for the same product on the original order.
Errors are defined as incorrect order specifications such as size, finish, style, fabric, or trim. Errors do not
include missing parts/or hardware. If you order was received missing parts and/or hardware you must notify us in
writing within 10 business days of receipt of your order as to the nature of the item(s) that are missing from
your order. Non-custom products are returnable within 20 calendar days of receiving your order. Some products carry
a restocking fee and is noted on the product page. Fabrics and trims are non returnable unless indicated otherwise
on the product page. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges for all products unless your product
was received with shipping damage or by our error. Shipping charges are non refundable except on sample orders, See conditions, orders received damaged in transit, or by our error. Sample charges (if applicable) are refundable. See conditions. If your order is received with obvious shipping
damage to the packaging refuse the shipment and contact us immediately. Approved refunds will process to the method
of payment contained in the original order within 20 business days from the date we receive your return item(s).
You MUST notify us in writing within 10 business days
of receipt of your order if errors have occurred on your Custom Product(s) as defined above, shipping damage
occurred on any product, or you would like to return a non-custom product for any other reason. Please contact
us in writing with your order number, item, and the reason for the return. Please complete the Return Form. Our return department will be in contact with you. All returns must have a return authorization (RA number) issued by our return department in writing prior
to the customer returning any product. The RA number must be printed on the outside of the return package.
Authorized returns must be returned within 10 business days upon the return authorization being sent to the customer by our return
department. All unauthorized returns are subject to no refunds/credits/exchanges being issued to the customer who
has returned any product without a return authorization. Return authorizations will always be issued in the form
of a RA number from our return department.
If your item
is approved for return; products MUST be packaged in the original packaging unless the package is damaged (i.e. torn,
crushed) and not suitable for return shipping. In that case the customer MUST package the return in the same
type of packaging the product was originally shipped in. Returned products received damaged with cause determined by
improper packing or shipped in damaged packaging by the customer are non refundable, non exchangeable, and non creditable.
Upon inspection of your return we reserve the right to determine if the item is repaired, reworked, replaced, discounted,
exchanged, or a refund or credit is issued. No returns, refunds, credits, or exchanges will be accepted for any
reason other than warranty issues after 20 calendar days have elapsed from the date you received your order. Please
contact us should your product require warranty repair. All Warranty repairs must be returned for our inspection before
any adjustments can be made.
Cancellation Policy
Non-custom
and Custom orders that have NOT been placed with the "Quick Ship" production option or
any other Rush Production may be changed or cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of the order date. Cancellations
and/or change requests MUST be received by us in writing within 24 hours of the order date. You may not cancel or change
any order after 24 hours of the order date. Quick Ship Production and Rush Production orders may NOT be cancelled
once the order is placed as these products go into production immediately.
Depending upon the nature of the change additional charges may apply. A change order confirmation will be sent to the
customer when all changes have been confirmed by us and the customer. All orders will be placed on hold until
the change order confirmation has been sent to the customer. Orders remaining on hold longer than 80 calendar days
from the original order date will be cancelled. Any payments made on the order will be forfeited by the customer
as a cancellation fee. If we are unable to collect any balance due on Custom Orders prior to shipping any payments made
on the order will be forfeited by the customer as a cancellation fee. C.O.M. orders may be cancelled without penalty
and are fully refundable at any time prior to our receipt of your C.O.M. Goods. We will notify you when we receive
your C.O.M. goods for your custom order and your order has been placed into production. Your custom C.O.M. order may
not be cancelled for any reason after that time. Check Order(s) will be cancelled if deposits and/or balances are
not received within the stated time periods. Any deposit payments made will be forfeited by the customer as
a cancellation fee. All C.O.M. goods received will be returned to the customer at the customer's written request
and expense.
Guarantee
Products
that are operational are guaranteed to be free from defect in parts and workmanship for 2 full years. The
Warranty is void if we determine mistreatment or alteration from it's original design and/or specifications have occurred.
Fabrics and Trims are not covered under warranty.
Website Images
We use high quality image resolution on our website. Depending upon your computer settings
these images may vary from our actual image quality. We highly recommend you order a sample prior to placing your order.
Terms & Conditions
Window Wear By Design reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions
at any time without prior notice. Due to the nature of our products we do not take telephone orders. Orders may be placed
via our web site or via a custom quote you receive. All order rebates, cancellations, order change requests, return requests,
and sample credits must be submitted on the forms provided on our website. Your use of this website constitutes your
agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions contained within.
